Acts4Needs is a ministry based at Kings Community Church, to which the Oak Tree Centre is attached, based on the principles of sharing laid out in Acts Chapter 4. We work together with the congregation of KCC and the local community to share our resources so that people are no longer in need. They work through referrals and provide the following types of support to local families: advocacy; debt counselling; legal representation; rehousing; house renovation/improvement; signposting; referral to counselling; provision of essential resources; and financial support for those unable to work owing to illness.

The Oak Tree Counselling Service is an established professional counselling service based on the Association of Christian Counselling (ACC) guidelines and the British Association of Counselling (BACP) ethical framework for good Practice. These sessions are in the form of short and long term support for a wide range of difficulties such as bereavement, depression, domestic violence, or self esteem to name a few. This service is provided by trained volunteers who offer their time to help others in crisis, it is a Christian charity which is open to everyone who requires counselling support.
